Charlie cooks Pizza

This week at his cooking class that is taught by Cara Perkins Nelson from FishBowl radio where she hosts a Cooking Show Called Healthy Now Healthy Later.  Charlie has been taking these classes for the past couple weeks and I must tell you he has changed so much since he started. At the first class he did not want to try vegetables at all and on Sunday on his Pizza he added Tomatoes and Onions. Which he hates. Then he sat down and ate every bite of it. It blew us all away including the Chef from Gepetto's Pizza Truck as he has had Charlie on his truck and had him make him a Pizza before and he would not allow vegetables on it. Only Canadian Bacon and Cheese. Which the Pizza he made on Saturday did not have it had other types of meat and he did not fuss at all. It was like a different young man. So I would like to Thank Cara and her team for getting my son to eat new things. I can not wait until Christmas when she hosts her family cooking class. If you are looking for items to purchase for Christmas Please check out her book she has on sale on Amazon. You can learn more about the book on MommiesPointofView.com

Plus the Cantina is open so David can have a Beer. So if your looking for something fun to do Please come out and join us. We are behind the old Montgomery Wards Plaze off 7th Street in Down Town Fort Worth. I hope to see you and your family there. You can also bring out your pets!!!

Family Fun!!

Today is a wonderful day. David., Charlie and I came out to Alley Cats so Charlie and David could bowl. As this is one of Charlies favorite things to do. Only the next time we come we will also do Laser Tag. This time I am having them do Putt Putt as Charlie have never done it.

Did you know on Sunday you can bowl for 4 hours unlimited games for only $15.99 with a Hot Dog and a Drink then you can add on Laser Tag or Putt for only $5.99 more?

This is from 10 am to 1 pm. If you have not been yet, I hope you take the time to come out as it is such a great way to spend time with your family.

We also got two $10 Game Cards with the special which we will save for another time so when we do not have anything to do or I need to work they can come out and play.

As at Alley Cats there is free wifi. So bring your families and your computers and come spend some time as a family.

Although normally I would be playing as well but David and Charlie needed the time together as David works so much.

So tomorrow is my Birthday and if you know what I would like it is another Gift Card to Alley Cats so I can come and play with Charlie. Or one to Putt Putt in Hurst so we can drive those Go Carts they have.

If your looking for Birthday ideals for Charlie or for Christmas passes to either of these would be wonderful.

Sunday fun!!

This weekend has passed in a blur as we have had so much to do. But it has been so fun.

Yesterday we was able to take Charlie to the NASCAR Races at Texas Motor Speedway.

Charlie was so funny he thought he was going to get to drive the cars.

We all had a wonderful time thanks to #Silverado Strong.

I just hope we are able to attend in the future as it is Charlies new favorite place.

David enjoyed it as much as Charlie and I think if he was able to he would have camped out there. Once I told him that I was getting the tickets he was so excited he  could not stop telling people. David even took the day off to attend with us which he would not normally do.

It was so nice to see him so excited about something we could do as a family.

It was a perfect day as my sister was able to attend the races with us. Since none of us had been before we where able to make a lot of memories encase one of us  is not here in the Future.

As Suzzane is not but she and I used to go as my Ex worked for O'Reilly's and was always getting tickets for us.

When I would take her she would get so excited choosing which car would win that the people around her would begin to bet on the cars she chose. This made it so much fun yesterday when I was sharing the story with Charlie. It was like having her with us as he was just as excited as she was.

One of Charlies favorite things was riding on the Golf Cart to the gate. He thought that was beyond cool.

We did have one scare when we pulled in and saw it cost $30 to park. We would have had to return home but thanks to #Silverado Strong our parking was covered in our tickets.

I loved walking outside and seeing all the Vendors who was set up and found so many things I would like to get for Charlie and I. As well as for my sister and David. If you have not been you should come out as it is a nice way to get your Christmas Shopping done.

Charlie and I loved all the different items they had in the snack bars but was amazed at the prices and know next time to take more money they we did this time.

All in all it was a huge success and I can never thank #Silverado Strong enough for having us out. I hope Charlie and I and David can save enough money to go out again as I know they both would enjoy it and it is the perfect way to spend the day.
